Phoenix police say a suspect who fled from Arizona Department of Public Safety officials and hit a police car on Sunday evening has been taken into custody.
According to officials, the individual took off from a DPS trooper and struck a Phoenix officer's vehicle in the area of I-17 and Union Hills Drive.
No injuries were reported in the collision, however police say the suspect fled from the scene on foot.
Officers searched the area for the suspect by air and ground and was later located by a police K9 and arrested.
Police say the suspect's vehicle was a black 1998 Honda Civic. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department.
