PHOENIX — Police have arrested a man officers say admitted to having sex with a teen he met on Snapchat.
According to court paperwork, Phoenix police say a 15-year-old victim told staff at her school on Wednesday she had sex with a grown man the day before.
During a forensic interview, investigators said the teen met the suspect, 23-year-old Kenneth Najarro, at a Phoenix library. According to police, the two then left the library and engaged in sexual acts.
When questioned by police, Najarro admitted to meeting a girl he was told was 16 on Snapchat and agreed to meet her for sex even though "he knew it was wrong," according to a probable cause statement.
Najarro has been charged with one count of luring a minor for sexual exploitation, two counts of sexual abuse and three counts of sexual conduct with a minor, all felonies.
