Think you have to go to Texas to get awesome BBQ? Think again.

Two Arizona hot spots were named in review site Yelp's recent Top 100 Places in the U.S. to Eat for 2016.

Little Miss BBQ

It may be called Little Miss BBQ, but the food is a BIG hit.

Its Facebook page claims it specializes in incredible "Central Texas" style barbecue.

Hundreds of customers agree, including ABC15 viewers who voted it as one of the top 10 BBQ restaurants in the Valley.

This year it also ranked number 13 on Yelp’s list of Top 100 Places to Eat in the US for 2016. According to Yelp, it "analyzed which places were the all-time most popular and well reviewed".

The restaurant, on University Drive just south of Tempe Town Lake, has a five-star rating on Yelp--a hard feat to accomplish when many people take to business review sites like Yelp to complain.

If you want to try it for yourself, you may have to wait.

In several Yelp comments, customers said the line was long -- long, but worth it.

One reviewer said, "One bite of their homemade juicy smoked sausage, and you'll be like a junky who was just given some crack rock."

Another commented, "Get in your vehicle, buy a bus pass, call an Uber, or cash in on that favor your cousin owes you...do what ever you have to do to get here."

Bobby Q

Number 88 on the list is Bobby Q, which sits right off I-17 on 27th Avenue in North Phoenix. The food and restaurant are both rich with history.

Bobby Q himself, owner Bob Sikora, has opened different restaurants all over the world and is opening a second Bobby-Q location in Mesa.

One commenter on Yelp said, "Bobby Q's is basically a textbook example of how to successfully run a restaurant properly."

They must be doing something right! Bobby Q first opened in 2005 and is still going strong. It's open seven days a week.

With reviews like that, how can you not want to try them?
