One resident in Arcadia says her truck was left on cinder blocks and she wants to get the word out about a rash of thefts in her neighborhood.

Tina Salcido says the latest theft happened Friday morning at her home near 44th Street and Thomas.

Salcido says her truck was targeted by thieves, likely trying to steal her tires and wheels. However, a previous incident left her prepared.

Salcido says just months ago, her truck was left on cinder blocks. Three of her tires, worth several hundred dollars, were taken.

After that theft, wheel locks were installed on her truck and likely prevented the theft a second time.

Salcido says the lug nut caps, with the Chevrolet emblem, were taken.

Salcido says other neighbors have reported similar thefts, including bicycles and other car parts.

"It's a little creepy, when you are here in your own neighborhood, and somebody is peeping tomming your home, to figure out what they are going to steal," said Salcido.

There is no suspect description for Friday morning's theft.
