Good news! Arizona Animal Welfare League flooded with donations after plea for help

An Arizona shelter is thanking the many people who responded to its plea for help late last week.

On Friday, the Arizona Animal Welfare League posted on Facebook saying it was down to its last two cans of wet kitten food in its foster department.

The shelter said it had wet kitten food coming in all weekend and into Monday morning, and had received enough to care for every kitten through the 10-month kitten season.

"Sometimes people are weighed down by negative things they see in the world, but if you need a powerful sign of the positive good a community can make, look no further. From the bottoms of our hearts, from everyone two legged and four legged at AAWL, Thank you for such an enormous show of love," the shelter wrote in an updated Facebook post.
