An infant and driver are okay after a piece of plywood flew into their car window on Wednesday.
The Department of Public Safety said the incident happened near the Interstate 10/Interstate 17 split near Sky Harbor.
According to DPS, plywood was kicked up by another vehicle and shattered the windshield. An infant inside the vehicle was covered in glass when officials arrived.
Fire crews were called to the scene and used compressed air to remove the glass.
