Prescott police are investigating a fraud case involving an elderly woman.

Police said Sunday that investigators are trying to locate at least one suspect accused of scamming the woman twice in one day.

They say the victim received a phone call earlier this month from a man claiming to be a security worker at Chase bank.

According to the victim, the caller knew her account numbers and other personal information.

The caller asked the victim to make a large withdrawal and meet with an "undercover" bank employee to investigate alleged fraudulent activity with her accounts.

Police say the victim went to a grocery store parking lot twice and handed over money to a man.

That suspect and another man drove off in a new, dark-colored Hyundai Sonata.
