Authorities say a woman missing in extreme northwestern Arizona after her vehicle got stuck in mud near the Utah border has been found and is in good condition.

Mohave County Sheriff's officials say 87-year-old Camille Humphrey was located shortly after noon Tuesday about 11 1/2 miles from her vehicle.

They say Humphrey was waving her arms and was spotted by an Arizona Department of Public Safety helicopter.

The resident of Washington, Utah was taken to a St. George hospital for an evaluation.

Game and Fish officers came across the stuck vehicle Monday afternoon several miles south of St. George.

A woman in the vehicle says her friend Humphrey walked away from it late Sunday when it got stuck and was trying to find help.
