Residents in a Scottsdale neighborhood are coming together to find an alleged "Peeping Tom" who has been seen skulking around yards in the area recently.

A homeowner, who didn't want to be identified, told ABC15 the incident happened on Aug. 25 at his residence on 87th Street and Davenport Drive.

"My daughter comes running into our side of the house swearing that she saw a man in her window," he said.

By the time he went outside, he says the man was already gone. But the man's every move was captured on surveillance camera video.

In the video, you see a man hop a fence into their backyard, and slowly walk around. At one point, he's seen crawling on his hands and knees.

"You see a young man avoiding detection," the homeowner noted. "You see a young man wearing a ski mask with intent and the intent is no good."

The video has already gotten thousands of views on social media, and neighbors are also now taking action.

"Everyone around our area has updated their surveillance, updated all of their motion lights," the homeowner said.

He told us neighbors are planning to go door to door handing out fliers and warning people to be on the lookout.

Scottsdale police confirmed two similar cases were reported the same night. They were unable to provide any additional information, but say the department is investigating.

Scottsdale police say if you have any information, call them immediately.
