Police say they are investigating after shots were fired near a Tucson elementary school.

KGUN-TV reports that police say drivers in two different cars fired at least two dozen rounds outside Canyon Heights Apartment on Friday afternoon.

No injuries were reported.

Police say the bullets came from a black mustang and a red sedan around 3:30 p.m. They say they later found the black mustang in an alley and took two suspects into custody.

They are still searching for the driver of the red sedan.

Bethany Brown says she witnessed the shooting and saw bystanders duck behind cars, dumpsters and other objects.
