If you're buying electronics, don't wait to open the box.
More stores are limiting the time you have to bring back TVs and other electronics, even if they are defective.
While Walmart and Target give you 90 days to return most items, it does not include electronics.
It's 30 days from date of purchase at Target.
It's just 15 days at Walmart.
Costco also limits electronics returns, but they have a much longer 90-day electronics return policy.
Some businesses extend return times if you have their credit card.
So open those electronics boxes early, even if it's going to be a gift!
