A Phoenix man's threat of extortion backfired after he recorded videos of himself having sex with an underage girl, according to court records.
On July 5, Ricardo Gordillo, 20, threatened to post videos of himself and a 16-year-old girl having sex if the victim would not continue to have sex with him, documents said
Phoenix police said Gordillo recorded three sex videos with the girl. On July 5, Gordillo texted the girl reminding her of the videos he had and demanded that she meet with him. When she met him, Gordillo took her phone away from her and allegedly forced her into his bedroom where he sexually assaulted her, while slapping her and strangling her with his hand, police said.
When he was done assaulting the girl, Gordillo deleted one of the three videos, indicating that the victim had to "earn the removal of the other two videos," court documents said.
After being arrested by police, Gordillo told them that he was bluffing and that he was aware of the victim's age, documents said.
Gordillo is now being held in jail without bond on two counts of sexual conduct with a minor, kidnapping and extortion.
