A Phoenix dad restrains himself and the man he catches having sex with his preteen daughter.
Court records show that on June 13, a Phoenix father returned to his home near 36th Street and Thomas Road where he found 27-year-old Anthony Mitchell naked in bed with his partially clothed 11-year-old daughter.
Police report that the man restrained Mitchell until officers arrived. The daughter reportedly told police that they had met on the internet and communicated by phone. She reported to police that she initially told Mitchell that she was 26 years old and that she invited Mitchell to her home.
Police say that Mitchell initially told them that he knew the girl was not 26, but thought that she was 16. He later changed his statement, saying that he believed that the girl was 18.
Mitchell has been charged with a charge of sexual conduct with a minor.
