An Arizona State University student was arrested last week after officers caught him trespassing in a police parking lot.

Police report that just after midnight on August 17, 20-year-old Carter Amundson jumped over the seven and a half foot fence around the "secured parking lot" at the Tempe station near McClintock Drive and Apache Boulevard.

Police soon caught and arrested Amundson, who reportedly told them that he had been drinking "a lot." Police say a test showed that he was not drunk, but later Amundson admitted to taking LSD and marijuana.

Amundson is a student from Minnesota attending  Arizona State University.

He has been charged with felony criminal trespassing.
