A man has been arrested for allegedly setting a fire at a Valley Walmart.

Court records show that a man, after shopping for items, took a nap in a Phoenix Walmart then set the contents of his cart on fire in the store.

Police say 58-year-old William Bisceglia went into the Walmart store near 35th Avenue and Bethany Home Road on April 26 around 6:30 a.m.

Bisceglia was seen putting items in his shopping cart, including two 64 ounce lighter fluid containers and two 'camping style' propane canisters.

Bisceglia then went to the garden section where he reportedly took a nap on a swing.

Police say Bisceglia woke up about 9 a.m. and took his shopping cart to the men's clothing section and set the contents of his cart on fire. He then ran out of the store.

Police were able to get fingerprints off of some of the items in the cart and match them to Bisceglia, who had prior arrests.

Police found Bisceglia on May 3 at a park near 75th Avenue and Osborn.

Bisceglia has been charged with burglary, endangerment and arson of an occupied structure.
