More than 18 months after a businesswoman died aboard a Southwest Airlines flight after an engine failed, investigators will present their findings to the National Transportation Safety Board in a Nov. 19 meeting.
In the board meeting, investigators will present their report to the board, which will in turn ask questions about the report.
When the meeting is over, the probable cause, findings and any safety recommendations will have been accepted by the board, said NTSB spokesperson Christopher O’Neil.
"Within a few hours of the completion of the meeting, the abstract of the final report is published, containing the probable cause, findings and recommendations," O’Neil said.
