As people around the globe hunkered down amid stay-at-home orders in March, Scottsdale-based Limelight Networks Inc. saw a surge in revenue as a result.
Limelight Networks provides the cloud-based backbone for content delivery from some of the world's biggest operators of streaming services, such as Amazon Prime, that produce and pump movies, TV shows, news programs and video games into people's homes worldwide.
Separately, Limelight also announced a key C-suite shift, with CFO Sajid Malhotra assuming a new role as chief strategy officer, overseeing the company's overall corporate and merger and acquisitions strategy.
Dan Boncel, the company's vice president of finance and principal accounting officer, was named the new CFO.
