Would you head out to shop on Thanksgiving Day if you were given a $500 coupon?
JCPenney is offering a Thanksgiving Day coupon giveaway, promising as much as $500 in discounts.
The JCPenney ad reads "you could get" an in-store coupon for either $10 off $10 or more, $100 off $100 or more, or $500 off $500 or more if you are among the first in line at 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
A JCPenney corporate spokesperson tells us:
While supplies last our associates will be giving out a small envelope to each customer as they arrive at JCPenney. When the customer opens the envelope they will find out if they have received a $10 off $10, $100 off $100 or $500 off $500 or more purchase. They can use the coupon that very day.
JCPenney is among the first retailers to open for Thanksgiving Day sales.
