Want to go to the happiest place on Earth? And no, I am not talking about Disneyland.
Scottsdale, Ariz. is ranked number nine on WalletHub’s list of the happiest cities in the nation.
The personal finance website compared 182 cities and determined people’s happiness based on three key categories: emotional and physical well-being, income and employment, and community and environment.
Scottsdale is ranked the highest out of all cities in Arizona and is second overall in the community and environment category.
Gilbert ranked 21 and measured third for the lowest separation and divorce rate. Glendale is listed at 104 and ranked second lowest for income growth.
But what other cities are better than Scottsdale? According to the list, the happiest cities in America are:
1. Plano, Texas
2. Irvine, California
3. Madison, Wisconsin
And the least happy:
180. Charleston, West Virginia
