We spoke with owner, Brandon Douglas about how his concept came to be and how important the local community is in supporting his business. When you enter the ‘cottage’ as Douglas calls it, you’re immediately welcomed by the employees.
The shop is small, but it’s mighty with color and nostalgia. A sense of familiarity and home are a few of the words that come to mind when you walk in. The walls are hand-painted with neon ice cream characters, there’s a variety of local, soda pops to choose from and the flavors of the ice cream are constantly changing.

Douglas, originally from Oregon, is a local businessman through and through. He shops local and he supports local. His ice cream shop even stays open until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays – now that is a man for the people.
