Once a silver-mining town, it became famous after the gunfight at the O.K. Corral.

Tombstone was founded in 1877 and most of the original buildings are still standing, including Sheiffelin Hall, The Birdcage Theatre, and the O.K. Corral.

Take a tour of the mine and stop by Boothill Graveyard where many of the cowboys in the infamous gunfight were buried.

There’s also museums, reenactments and dozens of restaurants and saloons to eat or drink at, including Wyatt Earp’s Oriental Saloon.
