La Bocca Urban Pizzeria and Modern Margarita in downtown Chandler could be "temporarily closed" for up to six months after the building they share caught fire on Wednesday.
"You may have heard the news--we had a small fire at Modern Margarita Chandler and La Bocca Chandler today. Everyone is okay, but we will be temporarily closed for repairs," the restaurants wrote on their Facebook pages.

Blas Minor, a public information officer with Chandler Fire Department said Wednesday via email that the cause of the fire was "undetermined." He said there was damage to the kitchen areas and the attic as crews had to "cut multiple holes to gain access to the flames."
Both restaurants share a kitchen at 1 E. Boston Street.
James Hamilton, the spokesperson for the restaurants, said Thursday the kitchen was a "total loss" and that management was still assessing the damage.
He said it could take between three to six months to complete the repairs and get the restaurants back open. Employees affected by the closures will be given shifts at the other restaurant locations, he said.
