Tickets for ASU Gammage's upcoming season go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 15.

This year's season includes the Tony-award winning musical, Hamilton, which is arguably the most anticipated show of the lineup. Other season shows include Fun Home, Something Rotten, The Color Purple and School of Rock.

Since everyone wants to see Hamilton, and wants to know how to score tickets to see it, ASU Gammage gave us their best tips so you do not miss your shot. Hamilton comes to Tempe, Jan. 30 - Feb. 25, 2018.

BUY A SEASON SUBSCRIPTION

According to ASU Gammage, this is the best option for anyone who wants to guarantee themselves seats to see Hamilton because the show is part of the season subscription.

The theatre has been quiet on single tickets because, honestly, it's not yet known how many, if any, will be available. Plus, some cities have reportedly sold out of season subscriptions due to Hamilton, said Executive Director Colleen Jennings-Roggensack in a news release.

A quick Google search will bring up similar articles of other theatres recommending the same strategy.

Season subscriptions start at $190 for weekday performances (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and balcony seating. Saturday and Sunday evening performances start at $240, and Friday and Sunday evening shows start at $225. The price increases for Grand Tier and Orchestra seating.

TIPS FOR SEASON SUBSCRIPTIONS:

  • Create your account -  If you have not created an ASU Gammage account yet, you can do that on their website before tickets go on sale. ASU Gammage is strongly recommending buying tickets online versus coming to the box office.
  • Be flexible - Make sure to have multiple days and seating zones in mind just in case your first choice is not available. Current season subscribers were able to renew back in March, and public sales may go quick.
  • Sunday evening has best availability. Right now, ASU Gammage says Sunday evening performances have the best availability.
