Michael Floyd's free-agent stock may take a dramatic dip due to his (as of now) inability to leave the state of Arizona until June, ESPN reported Tuesday.

On Feb. 16, the former Arizona Cardinals receiver pleaded guilty to extreme DUI and received a 120-day sentence stemming from an incident in December. The sentence includes 24 days in Maricopa County jail and the following 96 days under house arrest.

That means Floyd won't be able to leave Arizona until mid-June, unless his attorney files a motion to have that restriction lifted, ESPN's Josh Weinfuss reported.

The Cardinals released Floyd on Dec. 14, two days after he was found asleep at the wheel and arrested on suspicion of extreme DUI in Scottsdale. He was claimed by the Patriots a day later and went on to win a Super Bowl with the team, but he is set to become an unrestricted free agent March 9.

"If he cannot leave the state of Arizona and is not signed by the Cardinals, the earliest Floyd will be able to report to his new team will be June 17, by which time most if not all teams have concluded their offseason workouts," Weinfuss wrote.

Floyd spent the first 48 hours of his sentence in Maricopa County jail and is now on a work release program, during which he will spend 12 hours in jail and 12 hours out of jail each day except for Sundays, when he will spend the entire day in jail. That portion of his sentence will end in mid-March, and he'll spend the remaining 96 days of his sentence under house arrest.

Weinfuss also reported Floyd will not be allowed to consume alcohol, including over-the-counter medication or mouthwash that contains alcohol, during the 120-day period. He'll be required to wear a device that will monitor the amount of alcohol in his system.

Floyd is also required to pay over $5,000 in legal fees.

The Cardinals selected Floyd with the 13th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft and went on to record 3,739 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns with the team. He was inactive for the Patriots' Super Bowl and AFC Championship Game victories.
