Police are investigating after two teens were shot in Peoria.

Police were called to a wash behind a QuikTrip gas station near 75th Avenue and Deer Valley Road on Wednesday night.

Officers arrived to find a 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to an extremity walking out of the wash. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

An 18-year-old was found nearby with two gunshot wounds, one to his stomach and one to his leg. He was flown to the hospital and authorities said his injuries were not life-threatening.

An update Thursday afternoon from the Peoria Police Department said the pair met to complete a drug transaction when a disagreement occurred.

Both remained in the hospital, police said.

Police are not looking for any other suspects at this time.
