Roads were closed for several hours in a Glendale neighborhood while fire crews investigated air quality after three people were found dead of an apparent drug overdose in a home.

Around 6:30 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to a home near 59th Avenue and Camelback Road and found three people dead inside.

The person who alerted police said the three people were allegedly doing drugs in the home.

Police say officers found drugs including fentanyl and methamphetamine near the bodies of three men in the home. It wasn't clear if the drugs ingested by the men contained any fentanyl.

The men have been identified as 36-year-old Michael Smith, 44-year-old Heath Spencer, and 37-year-old Angel Cruz.

Police say Smith was renting the home at the time, and Spencer and Cruz were at the home as acquaintances.
