Four men are being sought by the Arizona State University Police Department after they reportedly assaulted and robbed a student at gunpoint on Sunday morning.

According to ASU police, they received a call for an armed robbery just before 1 a.m.

Police say four men entered the Hassayampa B wing dorm and assaulted a male student with a small baseball bat and robbed him at gunpoint.

The gun used during the incident was recovered by ASU Police at the scene and was determined to be an airsoft pistol, officials confirmed.

One of the suspects has been identified as Orlando Higginbottom.

Police describe the men as African American in their early twenties, between 5'8" to 6'2", and all having thin builds.

The men were reportedly wearing dark clothes, large jackets, dark hoodies, and masks.

One ASU student, who spoke with ABC15, said he saw the suspects and the victim running out of the dorm.

"The guy who got robbed, apparently, he laid down right here," said freshman Sean Zarinegar. "He was touching the back of his head, there was blood all over his hand."

Zarinegar says he tried to help the victim as best he could.

"He was in pretty bad shape," said Zarinegar. "He looked pretty dazed and confused."

ASU police told ABC15 this was an isolated incident with no threat to the public. Still, it's a concern to several students who live near where the robbery occurred.

"I feel like that's a lot scarier because I am always out late at night," said one freshman.
