Police have arrested two people in connection with a shooting in a neighborhood early Friday morning.

Officers were called out to an area near Alma School and Pecos Roads after 4 a.m. where they reportedly found a 44-year-old man who was shot.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment in unknown condition. Police say the suspects shot the victim after robbing him.

Police say the suspects fled the scene in a silver passenger vehicle. Friday afternoon, police said 31-year-old Yoan Jacome and 30-year-old Ronnie Olvera were arrested in the case. Each has been charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery and first-degree burglary, according to the Chandler Police Department.

Investigators were able to recover the vehicle but said a suspected third person involved had not been caught. He is described as a Hispanic man wearing a black hat and jacket.

Authorities said the investigation remained active, though no other information was available.
