Chandler police looking for missing 21-year-old

Chandler police are asking for the public's help locating a missing 21-year-old man.

Authorities say Ethan Depler was last seen leaving Chandler Monday morning at approximately 10 a.m. in his dark blue Chevrolet Malibu.

Police say Ethan had been experiencing mental health problems before he disappeared.

His friends contacted police after Depler posted a concerning message on Facebook.

When officers made contact with his family, they discovered a letter he had left in his room explaining his plan to end his life.

Officials say Ethan is believed to be in possession of a firearm and is considered to be a danger to himself.

Police think Ethan may be in the Flagstaff area possibly the Arizona Snow Bowl, the Lava Tubes off of Highway 180, the national forest or the Williams, Arizona areas.

Ethan is described as 5 feet, 2 inches tall, 105 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair.

He is driving a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu four door sedan, blue in color with a 2016 Arizona license plate number: BMB-2525.
