A Phoenix man is on a mission to find packages that were stolen from his front porch.

On Tuesday afternoon, Anthony Howell says his surveillance cameras captured two teenage kids stealing his packages from his doorway near 35th and Missouri avenues.

"Multiple packages got delivered that day but one of them wasn't received," Howell said.

Howell says all he’s asking is for his packages to be returned and for an apology from the kids. However, he has not contacted police and instead will continue searching for the suspects if his items aren’t given back soon.

Howell said he spend the day Wednesday searching the neighborhood. He searched trash bins in a nearby alley in hopes that they ditched the box.

"There were two [kids]," Howell explained. "Only one ran up to the door and stole the package. The other stood in the driveway and stood guard and made sure no one was coming."

Howell says the packages were Christmas presents.

“The package had Christmas presents for two of my seven kids and I want them back,” Howell explained. "My children are getting bicycles for Christmas this year and we purchased some pads...to make sure they're protected."

He’s asking for anyone with information about the stolen packages or the teenagers who stole them to contact him.

"Just bring them back and say you're sorry," Howell said. "That's the best thing for your soul is to make amends for your wrongs."
