Police have made an arrest in a west Phoenix shooting that left a 17-year-old boy dead and a 15-year-old boy in critical condition.
Nathaniel Stokes was arrested Thursday in connection with the double shooting, and is facing first-degree murder and attempted murder charges.
Carlos Villareal was transported to the hospital after Monday night's shooting near 35th and Northern avenues, and was later pronounced dead.
Police say a 15-year-old boy was critically injured in the same incident.
His name hasn't been released.
Police say Stokes, 19, ran off after shooting both of the victims.
