The community is holding a candlelight vigil for a Phoenix woman who has been missing since May.

On Sunday evening, friends and family of 32-year-old Christine Mustafa, will gather across the street from Boulder Creek Elementary School (near Cashman Road and 22nd Street) for a prayer service.

The vigil comes a day before police are slated to search the SR 85 landfill in an effort to recover her remains.

Mustafa was seen last May leaving a Walgreens pharmacy where she worked. She was reported missing the following day after failing to show up for her shift.

Her live-in boyfriend, Robert John Interval Jr., 37, was arrested in June on suspicion of first-degree murder.

The vigil Sunday will start around 5:45 p.m.
