Police are investigating after a woman with a gunshot wound was found at a Phoenix motel Monday morning.
According to Phoenix police, shortly before 7 a.m. a woman was found at a Knights Inn near Interstate 17 and McDowell Road.
The woman told officials she had been shot several blocks away from the motel.
Medical crews arrived to the hotel where the woman was then loaded onto an ambulance and taken to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.
She has not provided police with information about the shooting or any possible suspects.
No other information is available; officials are investigating.
