PD: Man threatened store clerk with knife

Police are still looking for a man suspected of threatening a store clerk during a robbery in Phoenix in mid December.

According to Silent Witness, a woman driving a light-colored SUV drove up to the Burlington Coat Factory near 44th Street and Thomas Road around 2:20 p.m. on Dec. 14, 2015.

She and a man entered the store separately, but the man grabbed a bag from a rack and placed shoes and watches inside.

A clerk confronted him as he was leaving the store, but the suspect threatened to stab the clerk with a knife he was carrying.

The man left the area on foot.

He is described as a black man about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 140 pounds and between 20 and 25 years old.
