The only dog left at Arizona Humane Society after a mass adoption event found his forever home but now the only pup left at HALO Animal Rescue is in need of your help.

Animal shelters around the country recently participated in the Zappos.com Home For The Pawlidayz event, adopting out thousands of animals.

HALO says 476 dogs were adopted out during their event, but one dog was left behind: Zeus.

Zeus, 7, suffers from Addison's disease, but it's very manageable with medication.

HALO says he's a very happy boy who loves kids, cats and other dogs.

He is currently at the Metrocenter Mall, located near I-17 and Dunlap Avenue. As of Sunday afternoon, a couple calls came in about him, but no one has taken him home.

If this sounds like a broken record, it's because his story is similar to one with a happy ending earlier this week.

A 5-year-old, partially blind German Shepherd was the only animal -- number #314 -- to not be adopted from the Arizona Humane Society over the Thanksgiving weekend. On Wednesday, after his story was shared thousands of times online, Bryan met with two families. The first family ultimately decided not to adopt him, but the second family did.

Metrocenter Mall's adoption location is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and can be reached by phone at 602-997-HALO.
