Authorities in northern Arizona are asking for help in finding a missing woman.

The Coconino County Sheriff's Office said it is looking for 70-year-old Linda Schleizer. Deputies said she was last seen walking away from her home outside of Ash Fork around 4 p.m. Saturday and had not returned as of 9 p.m.

Schleizer's status was upgraded to a Silver Alert later Saturday night.

Schleizer suffers from severe Alzheimer's and, when stressed, has a tendency to withdraw and may suffer a panic attack. She will not answer to her name when called, authorities said.

Schleizer spends a lot of time walking her family's property and is an avid hiker. She is described as 5' 6" tall and 108 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a burnt orange shirt, purple shorts, gray Sketchers tennis shoes and prescription glasses.

Deputies from Coconino as well as Yavapai counties, along with an Arizona Department of Public Safety helicopter and the Kaibab Estates West Fire Deparment were all involved in the search for Schleizer.

Anyone with information on her location is asked to call the Coconino County Sheriff's Office at 928-774-4523.
