LIST: Veterans Day deals, discounts and freebies around Phoenix

PHOENIX - This Saturday we will honor, remember and thank those individuals who served in the U.S. military for their sacrifices to protect our freedoms. 

Several restaurants in the Valley and across the country will thank veterans for their service with a free meal or treat. We've rounded up as many of the deals as we could find. 

While most take place on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, a few are valid on Friday, Nov. 10 and Monday, Nov. 13. For each, the military service member will have to bring his or her military ID or some other proof of service. Did we miss one? Send an email to share@abc15.com

​​​​​​Ginger Monkey - On Nov. 11, active military and veterans will be able to enjoy one of Ginger Monkey's five TV dinner-style meals. The meals are served on a divided metal TV dinner tray. Entrees include a breakfast option with eggs, meat and sides; spaghetti and sausage; grilled chicken; turkey Panini; and meatloaf or turkey. Each entree comes with a side. 

Organ Stop Pizza - Organ Stop Pizza will hold an ice cream social from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 11. The organ will play a variety of music. There will be no regular food service on that day. 

Original Breakfast House - Active and veteran military members can get a free entree from a special menu or receive $11 off another menu item on Veterans Day.

Hopdoddy Burger Bar - Military members, both active and veteran, can get a free burger from Hopdoddy on Nov. 11. More information.  

Native Grill & Wings - Active and retired military will be able to get a free meal (valued up to $11.99) on Nov. 11.

Famous Dave's BBQ - Valley locations will offer military members a free "two meat salute" entree on Nov. 11. That includes two types of meat, a cornbread muffin, and a side. 

Main Event Entertainment - Active and retired military can receive a free entree and $10 FunCard between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Nov. 11.

Bearizona - Active duty and retired military will be able to explore Bearizona for free on Nov. 11.

Abrazo Community Health Network - the medical center will have free meals for veterans at three of its campuses: Arrowhead, Scottsdale and West Campus. 

Arrowhead: Breakfast from 6:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Scottsdale: Breakfast from 6:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
West Campus: Breakfast from 7 a.m. - 10 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., dinner from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Ling and Louie's - Veterans can get a free "From the Wok" entree on Nov. 11. More information.

UltraStar Multi-tainment Center - Active and veteran military can get free movie admission between Nov. 10-12. On Nov. 11, there will be a free lasagna dinner at 347 Grill. More information.

Phoenix Suns vs Minnesota Timberwolves (Nov. 11) - Military members can get 50 percent off tickets and a 30-percent discount at the Suns team store. More information.

Phoenix Art Museum - Free admission for active and retired veterans, a spouse and his or her children on Nov. 11. More information.

Free entrance to all national parks (Nov. 11-12) - this is the final fee-free day of the year. Entrance fees at all national parks, including Grand Canyon National Park, will be waived. More information.

Jacksons Car Wash - Military servicemen and women can get a free full-service car wash on Veterans Day between 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Red Robin - Free Red's Tavern Double Burger with Bottomless fries on Nov. 11. More information.

Red Lobster - Free appetizer or dessert for active or retired military on Nov. 11. More information.

Dunkin Donuts - Free choice of a donut on Nov. 11. More information.

Freddy's Frozen Custard - The fast-food chain will hand out a coupon for a free combo meal that can be redeemed through Nov. 30,

Chuck-E-Cheese - Veterans will be able to get a free personal pizza on Nov. 11. More information.

Applebee's Grill + Bar - Veterans and active military will be able to get a free entree from a special menu on Nov. 11. More information.

Buffalo Wild Wings - Servicemen and women will get a free order of small wings (traditional or boneless) and a small over of fries on Nov. 11. More information.

Bar Louie - Active military and veterans can get a free flatbread or burger at participating locations. More information.

Cracker Barrel - Military personnel can get a free slice of its "double chocolate fudge Coca-Cola cake" on Veterans Day. More information.

Hooters - Veterans can get a free meal from a special menu. More information.

Little Caesar's - Veterans and active military can get a free $5 Hot-and-Ready lunch combo with a 20-ounce drink. More information.

Olive Garden - Active and veteran military will get a free entree from a special menu, as well as unlimited breadsticks and salad on Nov. 11.

Yard House - Veterans can get a free appetizer on Nov. 11.

LongHorn Steakhouse - Free appetizer or dessert and 10 percent off bill on Nov. 11.

Topgolf - On Veterans Day, active and retired military will have their lifetime membership fee ($5) waived and receive 10 percent off golf.

Cider Corps - The Mesa cidery will give out cups of coffee from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. to military veterans.

NYPD Pizza - Active and former military can get a free eight-inch pizza and a drink or a lunch combo on Nov. 11. (Excludes Sky Harbor International Airport location.)

Denny's (Friday, Nov. 10) - Veterans can get a free build-your-own Grandslam from 5 a.m. - noon on Nov. 10. This deal is valid on Nov. 10. More information.

IHOP (Friday, Nov. 10) - Active and retired military will be able to get a free stack of "Red, White and Blue" pancakes on Nov. 10. Deal only valid on Nov. 10. More information.

FireBirds Wood Fired Grill (Friday, Nov. 10) - Military members will receive a free lunch or dinner entree as long as they're with someone who buys one entree. More information.

Twin Peaks (Mon. Nov. 13) - Veterans will be able to get a free meal. This deal is only good on Monday, Nov. 13. More information.

Golden Corral (Monday, Nov. 13) - Golden Corral will host its "military appreciation night" on Monday, Nov. 13. Active and retired military will get a free dinner, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. More information.
