How much fear can you handle?

This fall, haunted houses, mazes and other attractions begin to pop-up around the Valley hoping to have you screaming at the end. Can you handle the zombies, screams, and chainsaws?

We've compiled a list of haunted attractions around the Valley. Please check the websites for ticket information and pricing. Know of a haunt we missed? Send me an email  and let me know.

 

Scarizona Scaregrounds: 2 haunted houses + Operation Zombie Storm (Opens Oct. 2)
Where: 1901 N. Alma School Road, Mesa, AZ 85021
Hours: Thursdays & Sundays, 7 p.m. – 11 p.m., Friday and Saturdays, 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Admission: $20 – both haunted houses, $20 – Operation Zombie Storm paintball, $35 – combo pack. (Fast and VIP passes available.)

Check out Arizona’s newest haunt. Two haunted houses—Slayer’s and Epic Fear--, plus Operation: Zombie Storm, an interactive paintball experience where you get to shoot “real” zombies.

 

13th Floor Haunted House (Opens Oct. 2)

Fear Farm (Opens Oct. 2)

Take your nerves through five haunted houses—Chainsaw Mayhem, Undead, Legends, The Bunker: Invasion (new them for 2015), and Mouth of Madness—or get lost in a 6-acre corn maze.

 

Arizona’s Original Scream Park (Opens Oct. 3)
Where: 8823 E. McDowell Road, Scottsdale (Loop 101 and McDowell)

How touch are you? Venture to Scottsdale and see if you can survive through four haunted houses: Horror High, Zombie Infirmary, Clown Town of Terror, and Gold Miner’s Revenge.

 

Jack and Jill’s Haunted Hill (Opens Oct. 2)
Where: 3401 W. Greenway Road, Phoenix
Admission: $25 - $35

**Family-friendly tours (no scares) available every day from noon-5 p.m. for $5 per person.

Jack and Hill went up the hill…but found an old abandoned mine and were never seen again. What will happen to you?

 

Sactum of Horror Haunted House (Opened Sept. 25)
Where: Superstition Springs Center, 6555 E. Southern Avenue, Mesa
Admission: $15 (fast passes also available)
Hours: 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Can you handle the mind of Lenore and her violent past? Venture through her childhood home, an ancient graveyard and walk through St. Charlotte Asylum, including Lenore’s twisted cell.

 

Ahwatukee Haunted House & Hayride (Opens Oct. 23)
Where: 4700 E. Warner Road
When: Oct. 23 & 24, 6-10 p.m., Oct. 25, 6-9 p.m.
Admission: $7 – general admission, $5 (8 and younger), $15 – Unlimited wristband

Watch out for the clown and mad scientist, and don't let the prisoners escape.

 

The Crypt (Opened Sept. 25)

Celebrate Halloween with The Asylum and The Crypt. Don’t forget about the Chaos Maze.

 

Golfland Fright Nights – Gauntlet Haunted House (Opened Sept. 25)

Just in time for Halloween, Golfland-Sunsplash had undergone a scary transformation. Venture through 15 rooms of haunts, lights, fog. Less frightening, but fun for the family, is Spooktacular Mini Golf.

 

Zombie WarZ Paintball (Opens Oct. 1)

It’s the Zombie Apocalypse, no joke. We’re armed you with the best weapons and now you must save yourself and your family.

 

AZ Field of Screams Haunted Corn Maze (Opens Oct. 1)
Where:
Tolmachoff Farms, 5726 N. 75th Avenue, Glendale
Hours: 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Admission: $16

They are waiting for you. This haunted corn maze lays over an old cemetery, but who is waiting for you? You’ll have to enter..to find out.

 

Mount Mayhem Darlings (Opens Oct. 23)
Where: Phoenix, Ariz. No specific address posted online yet.
When: Oct. 23-25, 29-31, 7 p.m. – 0:45 p.m.

What began as a foster home for lost children, quickly turned into a house of terror run by Mr. and Mrs. Sterling. This is a family-run haunt and is free, but donations are appreciated.
