Movie buffs, here is a deal for you.
Harkins Theatres, the Arizona-based theater chain, turns 84 in September and is celebrating with a weekend of $5 movies.
Between Friday, Sept. 1 and Monday, Sept. 4, all movie tickets are $5, according to a news release. That price is good all day and all weekend.
Considering ticket prices normally go for $6 - $10.50 each, there is savings potential up to 50 percent.
Harkins Camelview at Fashion Square and the IMAX is not part of the deal. Harkins' Cine Capri and Cine 1 theaters have a $1 and $3 upcharge, respectively.
Harkins has more than 25 theatres around the state, including 19 throughout the Valley. View showtimes.
