The National Park Service is celebrating a big birthday this year -- its 100th!

As part of the celebration, entrance fees for the more than 400 national parks across the country will be waived from August 25 to 28.

We have three National Parks in Arizona -- Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, and Saguaro -- and each have their own celebrations planned:

The Grand Canyon National Park is celebrating with free birthday cake on August 25, following by information booths and games at Centennial Central. Amtrak's Exhibit Train, which goes into the history of the American railroad, will also be there.
