TOLLESON, AZ — A semi-truck flipped on its side Wednesday morning, blocking a transition ramp in the West Valley for several hours.
The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. on the transition ramp from the I-10 eastbound to the Loop 101 northbound.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the semi-truck was loaded with produce, which caused delays in moving the vehicle.
The driver of the semi-truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The ramp was closed for about seven hours after the crash.
What led to the semi-truck flipping on its side has not been released.
