It wasn't Broncos QB Peyton Manning, Panthers QB Cam Newton or any of the other likely suspects.
Nope, it was Broncos wide receiver Jordan Norwood who made history during the first half of Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara.
Midway through the second quarter, Norwood returned a punt 61 yards before being tripped up inside the Carolina 20-yard line.

Unfortunately for Norwood and the Broncos, Carolina's defense held firm, and Denver only managed a field goal as a result of the record-setting return to extend its lead to 13-7.
