The Arizona Diamondbacks suffered some bad luck on the injury front during their four-game series at the St. Louis Cardinals.
On Friday, D-backs pitcher Robbie Ray was hit in the head by a line drive. Fortunately, Ray is doing well in his recovery and could be back in action in as soon as a week.
Then, on Sunday, D-backs infielder Chris Owings left the game after he was hit in the hand with a pitch during a second-inning bunt attempt. After the game, D-backs manager Torey Lovullo revealed Owings suffered a broken middle finger.
