Suns rookie Josh Jackson fined $35,000 for 'menacing gesture'

Phoenix Suns rookie forward Josh Jackson has been fined $35,000 for directing a "menacing gesture" and inappropriate language to a fan during the Suns' loss at the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.

The incident occurred in the fourth quarter of Saturday's game. Jackson made a gesture that some interpreted as representing the squeezing of a gun trigger.

The 20-year-old Jackson was taken by the Suns with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. He has averaged 12.5 points in his first four NBA games, including 15 points in Monday night's win over the Kings in Phoenix.

Jackson is set to make just under $5.1 million this season.
