#HugsFromHollyDay: NFL, Valley teams unite to support Todd Heap on late daughter's 4th birthday

Earlier this week, former Mesa Mountain View, ASU and Arizona Cardinals football player Todd Heap and his wife announced an initiative to spread acts of kindness throughout Wednesday, which would have been their late daughter Holly's fourth birthday.

In response, NFL teams, including both teams the 37-year-old Mesa native played for -- the Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens -- have stepped up to help spread the word.

The Heaps created and asked people to wear pink, spread kindness and use the hashtag #HugsFromHollyDay on Wednesday in honor of their daughter, who was accidentally killed last month.

Here's a sampling of the response to that initiative from NFL teams Wednesday.

Arizona's other professional teams, along with Todd Heap's alma mater, have joined in to show support for the Heaps' initiative.
