For Arizona Cardinals fans who are still sad about the way their team's season ended -- and about the fact that next season is still five months away -- this five-second clip did plenty to brighten those spirits.

Cardinals safety and fan favorite Tyrann Mathieu was a candidate for Defensive Player of the Year last season until a freak ACL tear in December derailed his year with two regular-season games to play. But the "Honey Badger" is already on the way back, as evidenced by this clip he tweeted Wednesday morning.

In the absence of a full-fledged medical update, this is encouraging news for fans hoping to have Mathieu back at full strength next season.

Perhaps no Cardinal not named Larry Fitzgerald is more popular with fans than Mathieu, who has turned his life around after dealing with off-field issues during his collegiate career at LSU.

Mathieu, whom the Cards selected in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, was named a First-Team All Pro in 2015 alongside defensive teammate Patrick Peterson.
