Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump isn't happy that the family that owns the Chicago Cubs has spent money to try to derail his campaign.
In late February, Trump tweeted the following about the Ricketts family, which owns the Cubs and whose matriarch, Marlene, contributed to an anti-Trump PAC.
I hear the Rickets family, who own the Chicago Cubs, are secretly spending $'s against me. They better be careful, they have a lot to hide!

Days later, Tom Ricketts said Trump's comments about his mother were "surreal."
Well, as it turns out, the Ricketts family may have yet to feel the brunt of Trump's wrath.
Speaking to the Washington Post editorial board on Thursday, Trump was asked about his tweet regarding the Ricketts. Here's what he said.

Among other things, Trump's assertion that the Ricketts are doing a "rotten job" with the Cubs may fall on deaf ears. The Cubs haven't won a World Series title since 1908, but they advanced to the National League Championship Series last season and are the odds-on favorite to win the World Series this year.
