The Arizona Wildcats football team has dismissed sophomore running back Orlando Bradford after the team discovered he had been arrested.

Scott Coleman of TucsonNewsNow.com reports Bradford was arrested Wednesday and is facing multiple felony charges, including kidnapping and aggravated assault.

Incidents happened over last several days. It was reported to police today. Arrest made today. Bradford is being processed at Pima Co. Jail.

Bradford, a 3-star recruit from Shreveport, Louisiana, recorded 208 rushing yards and three touchdowns for UA last season. This year, Bradford was listed as the Wildcats' No. 2 running back on their depth chart behind junior Nick Wilson. He had 16 yards on five carries through Arizona's first two games of the season.
Bradford committed to UA over offers from Utah, Tennessee and six other schools.
