This is why making bets on sporting events with your buddies is a high-risk proposition.
Cardinals quarterback and USC alum Carson Palmer made a friendly wager with his teammate, running back and Stanford alum Stepfan Taylor, on Saturday's Pac-12 Championship game between the Trojans and Cardinal.
Not only was Palmer forced to watch as Stanford beat USC to advance to the Rose Bowl -- he was also forced to don Taylor's very own Stanford jersey during his press conference on Monday.

It's the first time in recent memory that Palmer has lost a bet, as he seems to always win the Cardinals' weekly quarterback accuracy competition against Drew Stanton and Matt Barkley.
Based on his choice of attire on the plane trip to St. Louis, it's apparent that Barkley lost the most recent competition.
