The Happy Hogan at Frontier Town in Cave Creek is the opposite of a big box store.
Inside, you’ll find handmade jewlery, yard art, home furnishings and more one-of-a-kind things you can’t find anywhere else. Take for instance, the store’s stuffed javelina named Suzie.
Somehow, the outside is just as interesting as the inside. The structure is a traditional Native American hogan. Walk a few feet beyond the Happy Hogan and you’ll come across a slew of unique shops and characters including Frontier Town’s self-proclaimed “Preacher Man.”
You can visit the Happy Hogan Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
